ReadySetLift Rules

Built-in workout planning

Every ReadySetLift workout begins with the app's own planning rules. They create a complete plan locally on every supported device—whether or not Apple Intelligence is available.

A complete plan comes first

ReadySetLift does not begin with an empty template that depends on a cloud model. Its built-in planning assembles the exercise order, sets, repetitions or work time, rest guidance, and workout timing before any optional refinement is considered.

Explicit, deterministic planning

With the same relevant inputs and the same current rule state, ReadySetLift Rules follows the same explicit planning and validation process. Results can still vary when saved state, exercise rotation, or recent-workout inputs differ.

The planner applies documented rules for equipment, body areas, workout structure, readiness, and final validation. It does not depend on a cloud model to make those decisions.

Planning inputs stay practical

The planner uses the choices made during setup, including:

  • Muscle focus or total-body intent.
  • Goal and intensity.
  • Available session time and workout format.
  • Selected equipment or bodyweight-only mode.
  • Readiness and sore areas to go easy on or avoid.
  • Constraints such as low impact, no floor work, quiet, or small space.

Equipment rules prevent impractical plans

Exercise choices are filtered around selected equipment. A bodyweight session should not suddenly require a cable station, and a home dumbbell setup should not assume access to a full machine floor.

When a replacement is requested, ReadySetLift looks for a compatible candidate that respects the original setup and avoids duplicating exercises already in the plan.

Validation stays under ReadySetLift's control

The app validates the workout structure and exercise compatibility before it is presented. If an optional refined result is unavailable or cannot be accepted, the complete built-in workout remains ready to use.

Local in the current app

  • No account is required for the core workout flow.
  • The current app does not use cloud workout generation.
  • Built-in planning does not require Apple Intelligence.
  • Completed workout history is stored locally in the current app.
